Yay, Rupert!
Someone loves us then!
Thanks for the update.
Good man! Rupert, that is the message we've been waiting for.
We'll now start waiting for the message that says: "Hurrah! Blog unblogged! Come back in, the water's lovely!"
Fifi ;o)
So, Rupert, you too remember the interludes...
Things, Blog-wise haven't been "Bad" Rupert, they've been disastrous. And, iPM no better...
Not your fault Rupert
But true, nonetheless...
Could you an the team consider re-instating the photo Eddie put-up of the Christmas Decorations outside the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ TV Center, when the "Blog" problems first arose?
Although, maybe this year's scene would be better..?
Anyway, Eddie was probably right (seasonally) in terms of timing...
please miss, wots a letter?
Well, Rupert, thank heavens somebody has spoken.
Nice to see the old potter's still at it - that brings back a memory or three ..... (I was but a babe in arms, RJD)
Rupert, no problem mate, it's not your fault (well it is really), here have some money care of my thid party activist....T. Blur...to help you 'fix' things....
£££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££...oh..and a few ........$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$4..enough already?
I always knew what we would finally get them off the beach!
Thanks Rupert. We knows it isn't youse guys fault.
And they said you can't do regional accents in text. Pah.
Hmmm...no posts yet.
Does that mean:
a) nobody has posted to this thread yet, or
b) nobody can post to this thead yet...
I have my suspicions it's probably (b)...
Timecheck: 20:52, SB 1
Hmmm...
a) My last post went through within about 20 seconds.
b) There was nothing here two minutes ago, then as soon as I return to the thread after posting that message, four messages appear. Has the spam stopped for today?
SB5 (as I see it, probably at least SB6 in reality), timecheck: 20:54
Thank you, Rupert.
I think (ab)normal service may have been resumed!
Fxxx
Thanks Rupert! Here goes...
Happy St Andrew's Day. :0)
Is the potters wheel film on You Tube so we can all watch it?
I feel like a trip to the 70's for some Spangles, Opal Fruits and a Marathon. What other 70's sweets would you like?
Goody goody gumdrops!!!
(Wish I could do n-n's little upside-down Ls!)
witchi- good to see you.

Dear Gold Award Winner (Interactive),
I regret to advise you that there has been a mistake. It has come to my notice that you are uninter(esting) and inactive. Please return the Award forthwith.
Alternatively you may leave the Award on the beach and someone will probably pick it up. It is of negligible value.
Yours faithfully (despite your faithlessness),
Mr Sony and friends.
Sony - witty but harsh.
If there's a hint of an 'if', should you really be saying 'and when'?
Slainte
Jason(8) - I did post a reply to you this morning, but the 502 monster obviously relishes the Black Country accent!
Big Sister (5) - My good friend RJD tells me that when you talk of bringing back memories, you are referring not to the 'Interlude' broadcasts but the invention of the potter's wheel itself. Or was he just being cheeky? :o)
Hm. Yes, bloomin bad luck for iPM, irritating and often infuriating for you and us.
But thanks for getting in touch, Rupert.
Is there any way of getting some other bloggery program (NB not programme; PM is the one for us. At the moment...) to run it? Other ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ logs/fora* are available
But other than that, happy St Andrew's Day indeed! Drams on Nick's Bar
* erudite, eh?
Ah, 502.
Teddy Bear Woman and the Mob calling for her to be shot: utter madness!
Punch A Trick Or Treater Man: Lots of sympathy with him - punching an 8-year-old was over the top, but surely that 8-year-old (or his mum) should have been able to read the sign on the door and steered clear. Hopefully this will serve as a warning to those perpetrating the Americanised begging that's so common these days. As for the family having to move house because of the (much overused word) "trauma"... utter nonsense!
St. Andrew's Day: Let's make Scotland's new motto what it's always been: "Ye'll have had yer tea?"

Regarding this evening's report on PM, can you please prove to me that the huge crowds witnessed on the streets of Khartoum after Friday prayers today were because of the teddy bear insult?
If you go to any Muslim city anywhere in the world after Friday prayers you will witness massive crowds. Indeed, you will witness them even outside the mosques up and down this country?
Virtually every Muslim attends the Friday prayer - clearly they have to go somewhere when the prayer ends and in the absence of a teletransporter the first thing they will do is pour onto the street.
Testting ... testing ... 1 ... 2 ... 3 ...
... ... ... ... 2 ... ... ... 2 ... ... ... 2 ... ... ...
There is no need for any more sci-fi stories about time machines. All one need do is go to Sudan, or many hard-core Islamic areas; and presto, you enter the early middle-ages! Having just listened again to yesterday's "In Our Time", it is indeed vexing to see that the Muslim world stalled in the remote past. Brown had better get that teacher out of Sudan fast, for judging what has gone on in Darfur for years, there should be little faith put into their "justice" system!
If this is working again....
viz the Scotland marketing coup, I must have missed the end of the item.
Surely the entire thing should be
Welcome to Scotland!
Now open your wallet and repeat after me ' Help Yourself'
I notice the great one - under the disguise of '502' may have visited the refuge.
If it is he - glad that it is all so amusing?
I'm sure such laughter will go down a storm at next years Sony's?
HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHahaHaHaHa! - Not ¬
Thing is:
that many people don't realise how in a few years time people will look back and realise how this broken diary - an essential part of Radio 4's logging will be important.
Anne P will support me amongst others on this.
If -- only last week Eddie had kept a few posts rolling out - we would have had an unbroken 15 Months or so.
Now that has all gone to boot! --
May be a laugh now - but also a pity.
But the real joke being - that it takes until Friday for the Editor - who actually doesn't really have that much time for the blog as regards to his broadcasting roll - which I fully understand ...However..
All totally pointless and way overdue!
1/10 for the PM Blog
Rupert, I should remind everyone - was Mr Smiley
/blogs/pm/2007/05/the_smug_bastard.shtml
claiming the reward - for US! basically.
The whole thing is a scam - ;-(
TIH: Your friend RJD is probably confusing my memories with his own, I would suggest. I gather that many of his memories (unlike mine) predate the invention of both television and the potter's wheel.
I'm a modern miss, myself, while I suspect RJD is somewhat prehistoric. :o)
Um, Jonnie - Rupert isn't Mr. Rippon, surely? I believe, though, he is the rather gorgeous chap here
/blogs/pm/2007/11/as_we_prepare_for_ipm.shtml
Now, how could you confuse the one with the other, Jonnie? ;o)
(No offence intended, Mr. Rippon!)
Re: BigSis -
Apologies to Rupert - I did realise my mistake but thank you BigSis for the clarification. It was a late night and we'd all been out for a meal and one or two drinks.
... at least I'm happy that the blog appears to be rolling once more.
This is for Molly (16) :
Cut and paste some of these, if you'd like to dance!!

Big Sis - I tried to check with RJD but apparently his crystal set is playing up. :o)
