"Dark chocolate 'not so healthy'
Studies have suggested dark chocolate is good for the heart
For those of you tucking into dark chocolate this Christmas using the excuse it is good for you, think again.
A top medical journal said any health claims about plain chocolate may be misleading.
Plain chocolate is naturally rich in flavanols, plant chemicals that are believed to protect the heart.

Why the navel gazing about queengate? Is there so little real news that the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ has to revisit its own mistakes?
Scrooge....thanks for letting us go home an hour early today.
Who said the milk of human kindness had dried up?
May you and Mrs Scrooge and all the little Scrooges have a Very Merry Christmas, God bless you Mr Scrooge!
Lovely photo, Val
Val, what a nice photograph. I visited Budapest in 1988 and thoroughly enjoyed the city.
I remember the Hilton on the north side (Buda) and the spectacular views across the Danube.
Have a lovely Christmas Val xx
Hiya, this is a very nice Christmas surprise, particularly because when I sent the email (complete with all the mysterious >>, where did they come from?) I forgot to attach the photo!Oh dear, Christmas gets me even more stressed than holidays, but having both in the same month has been great fun :o)
Merry Christmas one and all!
Dear Eddie and Carolyn
Commenting on the lack of trains for 48 hours in the UK.
Just returned from a pre-Christmas visit to Munich. Hotel was opposite the Hauptbahnhof therefore the trains timetables quite visible. Service is lower but thorough throughout the 25/26 of Dec and the 24th is the big day in Germany.
Hotels
Hospitals
Power Stations
Water and Drains
Even Broadcasting Industries in the UK
all manage to provide a service 365/24 so what have the railways, bus and tube got that they havev't?
Demotivated staff
Don't try and get a GP apointment because they are so overpaid now they are all on the slopes swigging Krystal at the moment.
Lets face it the UK is a shafted eceonomy and it will take 4 or 5 changes of government to make the slightest improvement.
Ciao
