Initially I thought this Privacy Commission would be dull - however I have totally revised my opinion. The witnesses have all been fascinating to listen to.

I noticed Lord Faulks took umbrage to Max's comments about judges. Possibly justly so.

Great to listen to the whole un-edited recording and the refreshments comments.

One point Max raised was that 40 years ago his job was all about promotion, though since the late eighties this has evolved into one of protection. What has brought on such a change? Would this just be the press trying to survive in a more competitive era and trying to increase circulation figures..

  • Comment number 2.

If one is in receipt of a gagging order, would a facebook account count as automatic contempt of court?
It follows that the untold, undisclosed recipients are being denied the right of expression.
Numerically may the taxpayers know how many are denied disclosure about their own busieness?
