Is EA Sports Active better than Wii Fit?

Treble T | 15:15 UK time, Thursday, 28 May 2009

We called on the talents of celebrity trainer to the stars (Eastenders, Janine and Sonya). To help us figure out if this game/training program is any good. There's been a lot of fuss over Wii fit and the fact that it gets couch potatoes doing some exercise.Well Sports Active ups the intensity of the training to near gym levels. You get a resistance band to help you train and an entire progam of exercises including boxing, arm curls, dance and interval timed running.
Watch the video to find out how we got on!!!

Now you've seen the video, don't even try and bite my dance moves!
So here's the burning question, Does it actually work? They boast you can lose an average of 10lbs in the 30 Day Challenge.
Should I do it?
Yes or No?

Another piece of kit meant to make us think gaming will kep you fit, to be truthful isn't it better to go to the gym or play football down the park then come home and get stcuk into some Halo?

This epitomises Casual gaming, the Wii was made for the Casual gamer, people don't sit down and play their PS3's or Xbox's for 15-30 minutes a time unline the Wii

good thinking of Nintendo though to break into that market of the CASUAL GAMER
