I was disappointed with it the moment I started playing it, I also have a DS and it wins hands down in terms of playability and games available. The PSP Go revealed by Sony at E3 seems nice but don't know how much more of an imporovment it is, as Console manufacturers have found over the years its not the innovation of hardware, consoles or even peripherals (except maybe the Wii) that have made them succesful but the games you can play on them and unfortunately the PSP neevr had any decent games !
As for E3 Microsfot obviously had the more impressive showing with their own Project Natal and the whole "you are the controller" it'll be interesting to see how they incorporate this into their games. Sony have also jumped on the motion sensor bandwagon. But to be honest i'm a hardcore games who like to sit down for 2-3 hour sessions on Pro evo, i've never been a fan of the Wii although I won one simply because its to much pick up & play and very much geared towards the casual gamer and thats what all these motion sensor things lead too, I can't see anyone playing Wii Fit or Singstar for 2 hours can you? where as Metal Gear Solid or Final Fantasy will really mean you have to immerse yourself into the virtual world. time will tell if I know gamers or if Sony/Nintendo & Microsoft do, although they are just thinking of the $$$$$ !
