Blog upgrade explained
We have just put through some significant upgrades to our blog system. The good news is that they should make life much easier for you. We know there have been publishing delays in the past and these should be eased.
The biggest change you will notice is that you now have to register in order to make a comment. You can do so here or by following the link below this post.
Registration brings the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ blog network into line with other interactive platforms on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ like and and will enable us to manage your comments better.
It will make it easier for you to publish a response to one of our blogs quickly because we are hopeful that spam - which has brought our blog system to its knees in the past - should now be much more manageable.
Expect other improvements associated with this upgrade later in the year.
Content wise, there should be no change at all. We will continue to give you the chance to comment on the big issues around sport and look out for our new Olympics and Euro 2008 blogs, which will be launching soon.
Happy blogging. We look forward to hearing from you.

Being a web designer and developer myself, I understand why you would want to make people log in before posting etc. Although, I would suggest you still have a very visible button/link at the bottom of each blog entry, enabling users to post comments if they aren't logged in.
There wasn't one on this post, and if you didn't have the link in the body text, then it would just look as if the comments have been disabled.
I hope this makes sense.

Doesn't seem to show it for me. This is the original link for the blog entry from the cricket pages.

However, we have linked to the Sport Editors' blog at the bottom of the entry on TMS and Mihir Bose so that all of the comments come through to this blog. We thought that it would be best to have all the comments in one place.
Sorry if that caused any confusion.

I hope you dont have the stupid 3 minute rule from 606 on these blogs!
Why dont you put the 3 Minute rule on Have Your Say, people post on that everytime a new comment comes through.

If Saqlain/Murali could be credited with the Doosra, Ajantha Mendis should be credited with the Carrom Ball.
