Broadcast vs. Netcast?

'Broad-brush' vs. sign-writing!

Specialist blogs should certainly feature in the media scheme, but single-issue blogs do not a news summary make! Whilst it would be possible to bookmark a number of single subject blogs into a digest folder, this would really only serve to provide an alternate view to the broadcast mainstream summary in those limited areas, IMHO. The individual authors may be very astute in their own area, but the periphery of the 'bigger picture' might not be theirs to see. Having said that - the broadcaster might sport their own brand of blinkers - it's far from an individual trait!

My idea of a good news service is one that provides a well-linked digest of the important and/or interesting news and which balances the views according to bias weighting and relevance to my world (small 'w'!).viwe.

A single agenda blog is not going to hack it for me! It just might provide an alternate view, if I am keen enough to do research. But it will be a back-up rather than a working copy!

pagine piuttosto informative, piacevoli =)
