I have just listened to the 6 o'clock news. The lead item was of course Tony Blair's resignation. Naturally after 10 years in office we were treated to flash backs of his premiership. Why for goodness sake did it have to be accompanied by a cacophony of pop music ?? It served no useful purpose to what is a serious news item and was most annoying.

ithink the abduction of Madeline McCann is more important than politics and Tony Blairs resignation, I have been watching news at 24 all night for information and i am disapointed in the news coverage, ok maybe there is nothing new to report , but the whole country is with these parents, and feel there loss, its like losing your own child, who cares about tony blair at a time like this.
