I know it's not the Scottish 6 but here's a hot of the press example of how the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ is failing its Scottish viewers in it's delivery of news services.

I have just finished watching the Politics Show, where this week the Scottish opt out was cut by 10 minutes to carry a feature on the Westminster Governments plans to scrap tests for under 16's. The thing is that this is not being considered in Scotland and is an English only suggestion.

In the meantime the Scottish opt out was discussing Scottish Education and the Scottish Governments plans to end the Graduate Endoment Tax. The result was that in Scotland 2 minutes were left for analysis after its feature before returning to the UK programme for the English only story.

Why should Scottish viewers put up with this? We pay our full licence fee and should expect a full and relevant service. It is one of hundreds of such examples of how Scottish news viewers are short changed. we should just simply conclude that the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ from London is incapable of delivering a comprehensive and relevant service to its Scottish viewers and allow the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ in Glasgow the opportunity to do so.
