YESSSSSSSS!
Three years ago to 8pm last night my little boy was born.
The look of disbelief at the timing never left his father's face throughout the delivery. He clutched his hard-won ticket to the Wales v Ireland Grand Slam decider in his hand as the midwives popped in to have a peek at "the one who actually had a ticket." It's now framed.
A Charlotte had been born the day before and the ward staff begged us to call our son Gavin.
I spent that night watching the match re-run, feeling - for some reason - that I'd missed a few key moments that afternoon ... I told the baby what a special day this was and that it probably wouldn't happen again for a very, very long time.
Thank you, thank you Mr Gatland, Mr Edwards and every single member of the staff and team for proving me totally, wonderfully wrong.

On the subject of lucky babies, I had my first in March 2005 and I'm expecting my second this year.
I'll let you know if I'm going to have any more so that you can put a tenner on Wales for the grand slam again.

We have a baby boy due in 5 weeks and as much as I am elated about the grand slam, we cannot bring ourselves to call him Warren.

I thought Charlie (Church) looked particularly happy on the TV...even when Gavin was sent off!

Betsan, are you going to mention anything about Plaid being a "responsible" party of "Government" following the Gwynedd Plaid group to postpone school re-organisation?! Responsible is hardly the word I would use for it, they've already put it off for the last 30 years and that is the reason they are in such a mess anyway!!! And we do only win the 6 Nations Grandslam under a Labour Government!
