Andrew Sullivan says the election is a clear message for President Bush to sack his defence secretary, Donald Rumsfeld: "Fire him; and reach out to the Democrats and moderate Republicans in order to form a strategy for victory or stability in Iraq." ()

My able author definitely sullivan has got it right. President Bush must hsve fired his defence secretery for any tangible victory to have come his way.Otherwise,this recent poll is the beginning of the end for republicans.
