Writing a best seller is not easy, harder still if you're an 18-year-old in a foreign country and stuck indoors due to an ash cloud. None of which deterred Mary Shelley who - with a little help from her husband Percy - wrote the Gothic thriller Frankenstein, a stage adaptation of which is .

I went to the Bodleian Library in Oxford to meet Stephan Hebron, curator of their exhibition to hear the remarkable story about a remarkable story.
