This week four bands and four playwrights are living and working together to create four brand new pieces that'll be performed at Clwyd Theatr Cymru on Saturday.
It's a project called Write to Rock and the bands and writers were paired up last Saturday in a sort of FA Cup type selection - their names were pulled out of a hat, so no choice on either side.
Writer Chris Bennion is working with Kevin Critchley Outfit; John Donnelly with Louise Greener; Kit Lambert's with Chester based Face of Christ and Matt Morrison with Polly Mackey and the Pleasure Principal. They're all locked away in Llangollen feverishly working on an original piece and I'm heading there later this week to find out how they're getting on.
As the works won't be complete and performed before Sunday 28 November in Mold, we'll be following the progress of the musicians and writers on the Radio Wales Arts Show on 3 December.
There's also a which will provide links to the bands' websites if you want to hear their music.
