About as well as Alan Smith? His balance is beyond poor! He's on the ground more than Emile Heskey! England are much better off taking Defoe, Johnson and/or Darren Bent to the world cup

Yer it was a nice goal from Crouch y/day he played really well and came on, and from an England perspective was gr8 2 see him do well after what happened last time he played for England at Old Trafford when he got jeered, but didn't he take his goal well.

Crouch has to play a major part at this world cup! His recent record for england is pretty awesome now, and some of the footwork he was doing was worthy of the name Crouchinho! As for me and my flatmates at warwick uni though, weve named him Pierre Crouche for that touch of mock class. And as for classy goal celebrations, look no further.... !

Just thought I'd mention to the guy who posted comment number four (and for some reason again in number five) that David Bernal/Elsewhere didn't do all the stuff in the VW Golf advert. It was him with another couple of guys, Crumbs and Jay Walker. The Kollab videos are old but good; you can find loads of Elsewhere's stuff online.

I'm sorry but i hate Crouch he is a waste of space but....He did take that goal really well but an assist from Theo Walcott on his England debut how's that for a start! Crouch will play some part of the World Cup and so will Theo but i do think that Sven has lost his mind not taking Darren Bent. He is much better than Crouch & Walcott put together!

some players have boring celebrations (e.g. shearer, gudjohnsen) but crouch is a breath of fresh air. he is having fun no matter how bad people see the celebration. crouch will be effective in the world cup, but rooney & owen still main hopes. i think its disgraceful that walcott makes his england debut before his premier league debut. did look good but thats no excuse

I think Crouch should be sent to Australia, see what he can do there.

Indeed the orange geek is in fact the now legendary David Elsewhere! Who is actually one of three amazing guys who play the role of Gene Kelly in the Golf advert.

He does the bits with the robotic styles, which are quite clearly his work, i could tell from the first minute i saw the ad. The other bits such as the up-wall backflip are the work work of the other two guys performing the ad.

If your interested their are plenty of David videos knocking about on t'internet. Do a search - hes amazing!

Crouch plays like a Brazilian and dances like a brazilian. He is our no 1 striker alongside owen but i still hope Rooney gets fit.

Nice Dance footage. However, Crouch's dance was more like the 80s robot dance.
The kids in the video were doing more of a modern adaptation to Break Dancing called Pop-Locking. Just thought I should clear up some Hip Hop dance terminology so know one gets misled ridiculed for being out of sorts with Hip Hop Culture.

Crouch has been speaking on the radio today and has said he may do 'the dance' if he scores again (again being the key word here ;)

As people have said already it's great to see a bit of humour from players, the Italians and Brazilians have been doing this for years, heh even the Irish Robbie Keane has his trademark 'cartwheel and shootin the guns'

If he continues to work on those robot moves I have no doubt he will be able to stealth past defences everywhere

We shouldn't be so hard on peter, being a tall guy myself (6' 10") when you're that age it's hard to keep balance (having not stopped growing like he probably has) - when he reaches his 'final height' it will be far easier for him to balance, and thus turn on the spot, run and tackle, and shake off tackles.

I personally couldn't play any football at all from the age of 17 up till I was about 23 (25 now), I'd suggest he's doing very well to have got where he is - plus he's also trying to get used to a new fitness and training regime (note he鈥檚 improving all the time), give it a few years and he'll be world class, easily.

Nicely taken Crouchie. The team obviously like him a lot, you could see the spirit shining through. We're gonna need him cos Owen and Rooney are clearly not fit. But we should take both Defoe and Johnson as well. Far too many average midfielders in the squad, so bye bye Downing and Hargreaves.

I was amused to see Peter Crouch's celebration v Hungary. Being Irish I'm impartial on England - best of luck to them anyway. But as a Liverpol fan my main point is that I hope to see many more crouchbot celebrations at Old Trafford in a Liverpool shirt (prefferably)
