My name is Rachael Hunt and during my trip the team at ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Cornwall are going to be putting up an on-going diary of my travels so you can find out what I have been getting up to.

As Rachael travels to different places on her trip, we will be adding her photos to the gallery below. See some of the amazing pictures so far:

My travels commenced on 1 October 2006. I arrived first in Shanghai, China. Then moved on to explore Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Thailand. I have now reached Australia. So far, this part of the trip has taken up quite a chunk of my time away, as I'm planning on spending a year here with a mixture of working and travelling. Below is a map of where Rachael has travelled to so far which will be updated as she goes:

My theory is, if you're going to do something, you might as well do it properly – hence the reason why I'm going away for so long – I want to make the most of our huge and fascinating world.

From here I will head over to New Zealand for anything up to a year, but we'll see how much I miss my family, friends and Cornwall before I make this decision because by this time I will be into the year 2008!
