Taking the Stone

PLOT
When a life disc embedded in Chiana's gut starts hurting her and, when she takes it out, ceases to function, she knows that its twin disc is also spent. And since that one is inside her brother, she knows that he has died.
Yet as she turns to Crichton for comfort, he's up to his arms in Moya's navigation system and in no mood to talk.
Chiana steals Aeryn's Prowler, guaranteeing that at least one of the crew will pay her some attention, and flies to the nearest planet – which turns out to be a Royal Cemetery Planet.
With Crichton, Aeryn and Rygel in pursuit but far behind her, Chiana is grabbed by Clansmen, a rather young group of people who live beneath the surface of the planet.
By the time Crichton and Aeryn catch up with her, Chiana has willingly and wholeheartedly joined the Clansmen and is now preparing to Take the Stone – to chance her life on a cave dive down into a sonic net. The odds are just not in her favour, but can Crichton win her over from this conviction that she somehow has to dive for her brother's memory?
And in the meantime, nobody seems to have noticed how Rygel is grave robbing…
