The final total: £17,389. In all 150 lots were sold in the on-air auction. Everything was sold from celebrity autographed books to "money can't buy" items – all donated by individuals and businesses. Among the big-money lots was the chance to be the Rams match day mascot which fetched £730. The Ockbrook big band offered to play at a dance or concert, that realised £320, while a signed ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Strictly Come Dancing annual went for £210. Audio and Video links on this page require Realplayer Off air, dozens of motorbikes took part in the Money Mountain charity ride from Clay Cross to ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Derby and that raised a total of nearly £700. The annual marathon broadcast started at 7am with the popular Dial-A-Hymn and the on-air auction took place from 9am till 7pm. Dial-a-Hymn raised just over £3,000 - most of the station's presenters became auctioneers at some point during the day. As the gavel went down on the final lot at 7pm, pledges of £17,389 had been made to the total. It’s expected that the total will swell the total over the coming weeks. Simon Cornes, editor of ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio Derby said, "The generosity of our listeners is terrific, as are the organisations and individuals that give us the lots to sell. As always the people of Derbyshire and East Staffordshire came up trumps for local worthwhile causes." Money Mountain 2007 raised funds for six local charities:
