³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night returns to the Snape Proms for a celebration of the British musical. Richard Balcombe conducts the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Concert Orchestra in a whirlwind history of musicals that were ‘Made In Britain’. Ken Bruce presents the programme which includes music by Gilbert and Sullivan, Ivor Novello, Noël Coward, Lionel Bart, Vivian Ellis, and David Heneker through to the current West End hits of Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Tim Minchin.
The programme will be recorded for future broadcast on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 2.
