What鈥檚 not in question, however, is the tender playfulness of orchestral variations inspired by the composer鈥檚 friends and family, including the noble, much-loved 鈥楴imrod鈥�. Pianist Jan Lisiecki joins Elim Chan and the 成人论坛 SO for Beethoven鈥檚 Piano Concerto No. 3 鈥� a Romantic tussle between conflict and lyricism. The concert opens with the European premiere of Noriko Koide鈥檚 silkworm-inspired Swaddling Silk and Gossamer Rain, commissioned for last year鈥檚 成人论坛 Proms Japan.
