Trombonist and 成人论坛 New Generation Artist Peter Moore joins the 成人论坛 Symphony Orchestra and French contemporary music expert Franck Ollu to perform Henri Tomasi鈥檚 virtuosic Trombone Concerto at the 成人论坛 Maida Vale Studios.

Evoking everything from street music to grandiose dance rhythms and alluring sounds of French impressionism, the concerto is followed by Roland Manuel鈥檚 arrangement of Eric Satie鈥檚 Pr茅lude to Le Fils des 茅toiles and Hindemith鈥檚 Die Harmonie der Welt (The Harmony of the World) symphony, describing the search of 17th century astronomer Johannes Kepler for universal harmony, recycling motivic material from Hindemith鈥檚 epic 1957 opera of the same name.

The 成人论坛 Radio 3 New Generation Artists Scheme helps to support young musicians on the threshold of an international career to reach the next stage of their development, and brings some of the world鈥檚 most promising new talent to listeners across the UK through 成人论坛 Radio 3 broadcasts.

Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that as not everyone who asks for tickets uses them, to make sure we have a full house we send out more tickets than there are places. We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people so please arrive early.
