Vinegar recipes
Vinegar is a sharp, tangy and sometimes sweet liquid used in cooking for flavouring and preserving. It's made when alcohol (for example wine or cider), is exposed to air. Fruits, rice, cereals and sugar can also be made into vinegar. The many types of vinegar have differing flavours that work well with different foods, and the acidic property of vinegar mean it is great for pickling and preserving. Try our recipes using red and white wine vinegar, cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar and rice vinegar.
