Same as Swedish, Danish and Norwegian
I feel I have to make a comment on this even though I don't speak any of these languages. As a Swede speaking Swedish I guess my great great grandfather lived in a similar situation as people today do in the Balkans. Because of politics the three languages Swedish, Danish and Norwegian were created out of a few Scandinavian dialects, and today most people have difficulty in understanding the other languages, written or spoken. Not great difficulties, but it takes a little effort and training to master them. What a pity! Today I am convinced that people up here would prefer to speak the same language if they gave the question a thought, especially since nobody remembers why they were created in the first place anymore. I fear the same will be the case in the Balkans in one or two hundred years. It's sad to see the same mistake being made again, but I fear it is too late to change now. Nobody gains by this in the long run!
