Don't only use a textbook

I studied French for five years at school and achieved an A at GCSE, and now I'm studying Spanish in college and seem to be progressing much quicker because of the variety of methods I'm using. I'm not even doing GCSE level yet but I speak it more fluently than French! I have found that the best way to learn a new language is to learn from as many different sources as possible: I'm learning Spanish in class, online using Spanish Steps on the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳, independently from a language book and I'm lucky enough to work with a Spaniard. I think having Spanish coming at me in all directons is making the learning process very easy, and it means that what I learn is more varied, not only the methods. I really recommend trying to learn as many different ways as possible. Oh, and don't forget music, even if it is a bit fast to understand! Bonne chance, ¡bueno suerte!
