Bird cream

While studying in France, several of my friends and I lived with host families. We were all gathered at one of my friends' host home for dinner, and another friend was talking about her favorite French dessert. What she meant to say was une crème aux oeufs, egg cream. But what she actually said was creme des oiseaux, bird cream. The French people we were dining with looked a little horrified.
