French flirting
During my stay in France a few years ago, I went out with some friends one night and after a few drinks got chatting to one of the locals. I decided to tell him I was French as I thought I would be able to trick him. However, when he asked where I was from, I gave it away immediately by saying Je suis français, considering I'm a woman, he either figured out I was lying or else thought I had some issues!

In the beginning I always said to my boyfriend ma ³¦³óé°ù¾±±ð instead of mon chéri because I repetead his expressions.... Funny in front of strangers beginning to throw strange looks at my boyfriend!!
My husband told me he had the same trouble at school when he copied the French excercise of the girl he sat next to!
I had the same problem with gender when I first started learning French. I often referred to myself as a male, simply because I had listened to my brother speak and just imitated him.
Mixing up the gender is a very common and easy mistake to make, especially with pronunciation! If you don't want to be left with a red face, think about what you are going to say through a couple of times, then go for it!
When I started trying to write e-mails in French, I confused the words ³¦³ó±ð°ù/³¦³óè°ù±ð, dear, and ³¦³óé°ù¾±±ð, darling, honey. So, once I called my professor ³¦³óé°ù¾±±ð Cécile instead of chère Cécile ... I hope her husband didn't get jealous about it ...
