My father went to Paris.He was at the night club when he saw a beautiful and unhappy woman. He meant to ask why she was unhappy but said:Que tu n'es pas jolie ! - How ugly you are! He ended up with a slap! He should have said Pourquoi es-tu malheureuse ? - Why are you unhappy?
