The hardest word in any language

Maybe not exactly but one word that I have found that is particularily hard to say in a multitude of languages is the English word "squirrel". ·¡¾±³¦³ó³óö°ù²Ô³¦³ó±ð²Ô in German, Eekhoorn in Dutch. I am sure there are others too. For native German speakers one of the hardest English words to say is "Wombles of Wimbledon". Ask them to try, you will be in for a laugh.

The most difficult German word for me to pronounce is 'rechtschreibung', which means 'spelling'.

I love those fancy words and classic tongue twisters... My favourite is a bit simpler though:

Bitte acht einfache Erwachsenen-Fahrkarten nach Muenchen fuer naechsten Mittwoch.

(8 adult single tickets to Munich, please for next Wednesday)

To stay with the "squirrel" example, the tail of that animal would be officially"Eichhörnchenschwanz" but in Bavaria they would say "Oachkatzerlschwoaf", which is a similar old tongue-twisting amusement for the locals to make foreigners say that.

Dear Jeremy Clarkson, if we can learn to speak "diametral abgestufter zweiteiliger Edison-Schraubstöpsel"
(fuse) and "Oachkatzerlschoaf" with some flow, we can learn to pronounce "squirrel" while catching one with the mouth and complaining about the bad taste, all simultaneously. (Googling a corresponding statement is what brought me here, the world owes a lot to the ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ but one of the more recent great achievements is certainly Top Gear. Seriously.)

Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungsüberschreitung, which I'm pretty sure, is the verb 'to exceed the speed limit'.
