Comment: William:you related the experience in such a delightful and interesting manner. It certainly has left an indelible mark on the mind and personality.
It is similar to the Ulster Project in its aims.My son David benefitted socially and culturally from living with a family like yours in Maryland for a month. He treasures fond memories and keeps in touch with the host family.
Good luck and success;Arthur.

Comment: That was a wonderful story and told so well. It is interesting for me to hear as I was only 1year old, and this program was also effecting my life at that time. My father is the National Chairman of Project Children and him and my family started the program. It was a huge part of my life and still is. I have chaperoned the children from Northern Ireland for many years and it is interesting to hear about the trip for the children, and the impact the program has had on some people. It nice too know that peopel are influenced by the program.

Comment: I travelled with this group over a 6-year period. I often think about the hundreds of children who availed of this opportunity, and wonder if the experience had any impact on their life. Now I know.
