that went to pieces in my hand
before a thing was written.

Familiar contours
passing beneath hands.
The light is quite useless.

A break in the rhythm
to count the syllables!
A moth pays a visit.
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Eyes closed
labeling distractions.
Breathe in. Breathe out.
