Sunday Afternoon by Cat
Mittinger
|
Distinctive and quiet,
Sunday afternoon;
The northern wind blows my curtains inward and south.
Rain dispersing over muddy fields and
From my window
I can see a cow
I can hear it鈥檚 cry.
Alone it stands and calls for
The others
Grazing far beyond
At the top of the hill.
Lost and without them,
It鈥檚 natural enviroment
Seems alien
And lonely,
Murky and vast.
