Devon and Cornwall,

Both counties are right in the SW corner of England and catch
a good percentage of the best Atlantic swells. Being so close
to the English cities, Devon and Cornwall have become the centre
of UK surfing - in terms of numbers in the water at any rate.
I鈥檝e only been there once, and we were lucky to get some
half decent swell.

Getting There
You can fly direct to Bristol from Belfast and then hire a car.
Exeter too. Ryanair fly to the local mecca, Newquay, direct from
Stanstead. I have to say, socially, Newquay is a bit much. Flooded
with stags and hens in the good weather, it鈥檚 a real culture
shock if you arrive from Ireland where 6 is a crowd in the water.
We showed up at Fistral (Newquay) and there was knee high slop,
but there were still almost a hundred in the water. Plain nightmare.
A good place to get a cheap second hand board though if you鈥檙e
lucky. The trick is to get outside Newquay and along the stunning
Devon and Cornwall coasts. We surfed Woolacombe and a little beach
break called Constantine which was just lush.

What's it like?
On the whole, very like Ireland, with some stunning scenery.
Roads just as bad as ours too mind, so plan plenty of time if
your surfari is to take you up and down the coast and away from
main roads. It's warmer down there too, and if you're lucky in
summer you鈥檒l get away surfing in a pair of board shorts.

Go online if you.re heading there to surf.

facilitate online 成人论坛 platforms that are surfer centred and easy
to understand.

Surf shops: small
ones at most well known breaks. Plenty in bigger spots like Newquay,
Woolacombe etc
Breaks: Similar
to Ireland, although generally gets less swell than here. Places
like The Cribbar in Newquay can go massive in the right swell.
