This could be a very busy place if the network extends to its expected potential.
At its height in 1926 the network ran to some 26 miles, served by a fleet of 200 trams.
If possible extensions to Clifton and Chilwell go ahead then the NET tram route would run 20 miles with 30 modern vehicles.
