Here's one
thing I can do better than Hermione

The waiting
is over. Harry Potter's hit the big screen. And the verdict? Here
are the views which really count from our junior reviewers.
First up is 9-year-old Alex Sotheran from Radcliffe on Trent.
The Harry Potter
film is fascinating and was the best film I've ever seen.
It wasn't so
scary but the bit that I thought was scary was at the end with Quirrell
and Lord Voldemort's face. In the book it's described as "Where
there should have been a back to Quirrell's head, there was a face,
the most terrible face Harry had ever seen." In the film that was
the bit that would have scared my little brother Harry aged 4.
The film did
not really follow the book in all detail and kept missing out bits
- it really should have included the second Quiddich match (Gryffindor
vs Hufflepuff).

Top marks
for Robbie's portrayal of Hagrid |
But in any case
the best bit was definitely the Quiddich because it was really dramatic
and made you feel as though you could really fly and made me wanted
to play.
I was shocked
to find that they introduced a swear word into the film even though
it wasn't in the book but at least it was in a funny part.
I would certainly
go to Hogwarts and I'm sure that you would too!
My best characters
were probably Dumbledore, Harry, Ron Hermione, Hagrid and Snape
who are just as I imagined in the book except Snape's hair which
I thought would be the colour blond.
Out of all the
films I've seen I would give Harry Potter and the Philosopher's
Stone 5/5 and the other films that I've seen 4/5. It was really
fab, and I can't wait for the second film - I have to go and see
this again with my mum!
