What is Tessa like?

Tessa was talked about a lot in the first series but no one saw her in person. She's completely oblivious to the fact that Charlie's having an affair.
Ìý
She becomes very close to Al, which makes things slightly awkward for him, although he never lets anything slip to Tessa. Al is constantly reminding Charlie that he can't get away with cheating on her.
Ìý
Her time is spent lunching with friends and spending Charlie's money – which he can't afford. She's very insecure about the fact that she doesn't work and is conscious that she appears to be a shallow person.

How did you enjoy filming with the New Street Law cast?
Ìý
Sometimes it can be a bit strange coming into a series later on but I felt completely welcomed by everyone. I knew Lisa before filming, she's lovely.
Ìý
Most of my scenes were with John and Chris, who couldn't have been nicer. I knew before I met John that I was going to like him very much, and I was right! He's a very funny man, as well as being a great actor.
Ìý
Do you think you are anything like your character?
Ìý
No I don't, actually. She's spent the last couple of years doing nothing and I think I would get bored of that very quickly. Also, I'd be in a complete panic if my credit cards were always bouncing but, to Tessa, that's just a normal day!
Ìý
She's a really nice character to play – she's far from stupid but I don't think she knows how to get direction in her life, or a career of her own.
