Eurovision Dance Contest
Ìý
More than 50 years after the launch of the Eurovision Song Contest, a brand-new
Euro-show is set to sashay into the spotlight. So, take your partners for the sequinned
splendour of the very first Eurovision Dance Contest!
Ìý
The ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ will host this dazzling event at ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Television Centre, London. The viewing public
will be the judges for this spectacular competition, featuring dancing couples from 16
countries across Europe – Austria, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Lithuania,
the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and, of
course, the UK.
Ìý
This major Saturday night event is presented by Graham Norton and Claudia Winkleman.
Eurovision Dance Contest will see professional and amateur dancers compete for the
international crown. Each couple will perform two dances – one a choice of traditional
Latin or ballroom; the other a freestyle dance reflecting their national culture.
Ìý
An expert will commentate on performance and artistic content and viewers will be asked
to vote on the overall performance – dancing, choreography, costume and choice of music.
Will any of the couples suffer the shame of nul points?
Ìý
Like the Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision Dance Contest will have foreign hosts, a
scoreboard and will be live and unpredictable.

Who Dares Wins
Ìý
Nick Knowles hosts a new, Saturday night National Lottery show in which
complete strangers are coupled-up to put their general knowledge and
nerve to the ultimate test.
Ìý
Two dynamic duos are randomly paired-up in the studio to pit their wits
against each other, creating lists on any given subject. Which couple will
name the most films starring Tom Cruise, the most Beatles hit singles or
create the longest list of post-War ladies' Wimbledon champions?
Ìý
Tensions build and the couples bond as they bid to outdo each other. The
first pair with two lists under their belt claim victory and win the right to
carry on list-making with the opportunity to win up to £60,000.
Ìý
And that's not all – the champions return the following Saturday to face
two new challengers, in the show in which making lists could make two
lucky people very rich.
