Anita Dobson returns to soap in Asian Network's Silver Street

Anita Dobson joins 成人论坛 Asian Network's daily radio soap Silver Street next month.
听
Anita plays Sandra Lester, the wife of football
manager Kenny.
听
Two years ago Sandra and Kenny's footballer son Darren
was convicted of a violent assault on an asylum seeker, and now they
want to forget the past and are determined to move on.
听
Meanwhile
Silver Street's business tycoons Mushtaq and Zenab have just bought a
football club, but are feeling out of their depth in "the beautiful
game".
听
Could their inexperience be Sandra and Kenny's opportunity to
rebuild their lives and maybe even settle in Silver Street?
听
Anita's first Silver Street episode is broadcast on 3 December 2007
at 1.30pm.

Silver Street is broadcast daily on the Asian Network at 1.30pm with a
Sunday oOmnibus at 2pm.

In addition to her famous role as Angie in 成人论坛 One's EastEnders, Anita's
versatility has taken her to the National Theatre as well as various
musicals including Hello Dolly, where she plays the lead role and
which tours in 2008. Anita is also starring in Santa Claus the Musical at
the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham from next month.
