Hotel Babylon
Staff profiles
Charlie Edwards (Max Beesley) – General Manager of Hotel Babylon, 33, attractive, technically single but has had flings with both Jackie and boss Rebecca in previous series of Babylon – who is next on his hit list? A jack of all trades, master of none, Charlie is our "everyman" and introduces us to the world of the hotel – giving us all the tips and exposing the dirty little secrets we need to know. Likeable and charming, he possesses impressive moral standards, which is interesting considering his complex past. Just as driven and ambitious as his predecessor, Charlie is determined to make his mark and ensure the hotel's standards and profits are at an optimum. However, running a tight ship and delivering on target comes at a price and Charlie soon learns that as GM his decisions aren't always going to be popular with the Babylon employees.

Tony Casemore (Dexter Fletcher) – Concierge, approaching 40, married with children, but with the hours he works, he doesn't get to see much of them. As Concierge, he's a true specialist – he knows everything the guest needs to know – he can get you anything, from anywhere, and always within 24 hours. An effortless charmer and easy-going, he has worked in the hotel business for years and knows it inside out.

Anna Thornton-Wilton (Emma Pierson) - Head Receptionist Anna is 27 and...let's say...aspirational. She works in the luxury hotel business because she feels completely at home there – but really working there is the only way she can afford to be a part of it. She's gorgeous and knows it and, as far as she's concerned, it's only a matter of time before she bags a wealthy and eligible man. Her sole ambition is to marry into the lifestyle she believes she deserves. But her plans become unstuck when Anna finds herself head over heels in love and not with the wealthy entrepreneur she's always dreamed of...

Jackie Clunes (Natalie Mendoza) – Head of Housekeeping, 29, Australian. A staunch team player, Jackie is always fiercely protective of the below-stairs staff - those whom the guests rarely see. She always goes the extra mile for her team but sometimes finds herself in deep trouble as a result and series three is no exception. Jackie is tested to the limit and when things go horribly wrong there is only one person she can turn to.

Gino Primirola (Martin Marquez) – Head Barman, 43, half-Italian, half-Spanish. The luxury end of the market is awash with Spanish barmen, but Gino is particularly proud of his dual identity. While his background might be slightly chequered, he's undeniably clean and kind-hearted. His strong, unique morality somehow seems to stop with the ladies and his position within the hotel is threatened when long-lost brother Ginelli turns up at Babylon.

Ben Trueman (Michael Obiora) – Receptionist, 24. Lloves the luxury hotel world because of its style and inherent campness. Ben has been at Babylon for two years but is still intimidated by some of his colleagues and when new Head Chef Otto Clark throws his weight around, Ben faces the ultimate dilemma. His impeccable moral convictions could, however, be his saving grace.

James Schofield (Ray Coulthard) – Food & Beverage Manager, 40. Extremely pretentious and rather old school. James knows the value and importance of all things luxurious and gets a huge kick from ordering the finest produce. He just can't help looking down his nose at people who can't pronounce foreign labels but it is exactly this snobbery that lands him in hot water.

Jack Harrison (Lee Williams) – New Deputy Manager, quietly confident but a tad too big for his boots, not to mention wet behind the ears. When Charlie sets him an interview task of looking after the most difficult guest Babylon has ever had - Mr Delaney - will Jack rise to the occasion?
Ìý
Emily James (Alexandra Moen) – New Head of PR: beautiful, ambitious and wants to put Hotel Babylon back on top following a dodgy restaurant review. However she gets off to a rocky start by posing as a journalist and interviewing her future colleagues - who divulge a little too much information. She will need to earn their trust if she is to last longer than one week at the hotel.

Tanya Mihajlov (Danira Govic) – Chambermaid, 26. Hails from somewhere in the Balkans but nobody quite knows where (or cares). She's sulky and refuses to clean anything beyond her call of duty. Would love to move to a front of house job, but has a long way to go. Her attitude, if nothing else, would have to change!
