³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Cymru Wales confirmed today that ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms in the Park is returning to Singleton Park, Swansea for 2010.
On Saturday 11 September, ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Wales, in collaboration with the City and County of Swansea, will join in the UK-wide celebrations of the Last Night of the Proms and bring a feast of live music to Singleton Park.
As ever, this popular family occasion will welcome crowds to bring picnics and flags and to enjoy the music and fireworks.
Conducting the summer celebration in the park will be Wales' own world-class conductor, Grant Llewellyn, with the mighty ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ National Orchestra of Wales adding their epic sound to the festivities.
An exciting line-up of other artists and presenters is due to be announced over the next few weeks.
"I thoroughly enjoy playing my part in the festival and in sharing the special atmosphere that Proms in the Park create," said Grant Llewellyn.
"Every year builds on the success of the previous and I'm sure this year in Swansea will not be an exception."
