³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms online

All Proms events this year will be available online

The all-new – where audiences can find all the latest details of events to book, listen to or watch, browse a wealth of related content from the Radio 3 archive and listen live in HD Sound – goes live at noon on 14 April. Other features will include a Proms Showcase with highlights of the week's concerts, downloadable interviews with key performers and the ability to browse by composer, performer or theme (e.g. Choral, Family Friendly, Baroque and Early Music). The site will offer comprehensive programme notes for every concert and the Proms blog gives exclusive behind-the-scenes insight. Users will be able to relive concerts with photos and video, and submit their own reviews and comments to the site and to ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio 3's Breakfast show.

This year also sees the launch of a new version of the Proms website for mobile devices. It will be available from July.

The ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Proms Archive, launched last year, lists all performances, composers, works, soloists, conductors and ensembles in its entire 116-year history.

The festival buzz and latest news onstage and backstage can also be found on Facebook at and Twitter .

Every Proms broadcast on ³ÉÈËÂÛ̳ Radio or Television is also available to listen or watch again for seven days after broadcast via bbc.co.uk/proms.
