Call You and Yours: What's really important in a relationship?
Consumer phone-in. What's really important in a relationship? Researchers have come up with ten questions couples should ask each other before they get married.
We'd like you to tell us - what's really important in a relationship? Researchers at Exeter University have come up with a checklist of ten questions which potential newly-weds should ask themselves before they tie the knot to see if they really are compatible. Their work is being supported by Baroness Fiona Shackleton, the divorce lawyer who represented Prince Charles in his divorce in 1996. According to the latest statistics, around 42% of marriages end in divorce in England and Wales.
Baroness Shackleton believes there isn't enough education around the issue and that in more than half of her cases couples simply hadn't realised they were not compatible.
