There’s plenty of banter in the company of Helen Mark and the Kintra team this week as they celebrate the first anniversary of the programme. Expect plenty of banter from Rab Lennox, Sylvia Burnside, Jonnie Crawford, Diana Culbertson, Willie Hill and Gibson Young as the pals take a look back at a few of their favourite moments including the Banterbox babes in Portavogie, Rab ‘talking tartan’ in a Belfast kilt shop, the John Wayne drum in the Caddy, an Appalachian virtuoso, lambs ‘shooting out everywhere’ in a Glastry lambing shed, the stabbing of a haggis by the normally gentle Helen and live music from Russell Ramage and Tommy Clarke. Come and join the party! The team love to hear what’s going on in the Ulster-Scots community –contact them by email, Kintra@bbc.co.uk
