The 109kg men's weightlifting competition continues, plus the conclusion of the beach volleyball and Brazil's men in football semi-final.
Canadian duo Melissa Humana-Paredes and Sarah Pavan face Mariafe Artacho del Solar and Taliqua Clancy of Australia for the final spot in the semi-finals. The side from Canada are world number one's while the pair from Australia sit fifth. This will no doubt be a tie full of quality and should be extremely close. Watch the conclusion of this tie.

Competitors must complete both a snatch and a clean & jerk, with the combined score providing a ranking score.
