For millions of children in Ukraine, life has been transformed by Russia's invasion. Three young people tell their stories of coping with the physical and mental strains of war.
Some 2,000 children have been injured or killed since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, and this year the number has surged. But the suffering caused by this war is not only physical: many young Ukrainians are also dealing with the immense psychological strain of a life under fire, displaced from their homes or with the loss of loved ones. In a war that has interrupted childhood, placing normal life on hold, we meet three young Ukrainians to see how they - and those caring for them - cope.
