Ahead of Radio 2 in the Park, Jo is live from Preston! She is joined by Radio Lancashire & Cumbria presenter William Wolstenholme for a 成人论坛 Introducing special from Preston venue The Ferret, focusing on the thriving music scene in the city and with live music from local artists Vala, LOWES and Bryony Jarman-Pinto - including covers by artists performing at Radio 2 in the Park this weekend!
Bryony Jarman-Pinto is a Lancashire-based singer songwriter who fuses jazz, soul, and folk elements. Her second album 'Below Dawn' was released earlier this year.
LOWES are an electronic-pop trio from Lancaster, made up of Preston-born vocalist Evie Plumb and multi-instrumentalists Luke Paget and Jamie Walker. Their latest EP 'Mother Of Our Dreams' was released in June.
VALA are an indie-boyband from Blackpool, made up of Joe Knowles, Matt Hill, George Hill and Tom Wynne. Following previous headline shows at Manchester's Deaf Institute and YES Pink Room, they will begin their first UK tour this September.
