Irish indie band Fontaines D.C. play a Sofa Session for Jo, including tracks from the new album 'Romance' and a cover.
Released on 23rd August, 'Romance' is the fourth album from Fontaines D.C. and follows 2022's chart-topping 'Skinty Fia'. With singles including Starburster, Favourite and Here's The Thing, it is their first album produced by the legendary James Ford and was partly inspired by their experience touring with Arctic Monkeys in 2023.
Fontaines D.C. formed in Dublin in 2014. They are Grian Chatten, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan III, Tom Coll and Carlos O'Connell. Their first album, 'Dogrel', released in 2019, was shortlisted for the prestigious Mercury Prize. In 2022, they won the Brit Award for International Group.
To celebrate the release of the new album, and before embarking on their sold-out UK tour in September, Fontaines D.C. join Jo with live music recorded at Maida Vale.
