Episode 10
Izzie and Robin visit an Aberdeen home in need of downsizing. Heirlooms are restored and treasures unearthed. The goal is to raise cash to support charities in Africa.
Izzie and Robin travel to a picturesque town in north east Scotland to help Liz, a retired teacher, downsize her home and rekindle her passion for travel and charitable work in Africa. Along the way, they stumble upon a treasure trove of sparkling surprises that could be worth a fortune.
Liz has dedicated 20 years of her life to the young people of Malawi. But her adventures came to an abrupt halt when a camping trip went wrong, leaving her with a broken ankle and a long recovery, confined to a wheelchair. Recent events have made Liz realise she needs to downsize, with some of the proceeds from the sale going to help her friends in Africa.
Auctioneer Izzie uncovers valuable items around Liz鈥檚 home, including some rare sovereign coins. The real treasures, however, are hidden away in a bedroom drawer and are sure to dazzle on auction day.
Meanwhile, restorer Robin gets to work, breathing new life into forgotten treasures. He saves a vintage bike from the scrap heap, transforms a much-loved sewing box, and with the help of an expert horologist, brings an 18th-century grandfather clock back to life.
With time ticking down to auction day in Aberdeen, an unexpected mishap throws a wrench in Robin鈥檚 plans. Can he pull it all together in time to make Liz鈥檚 dreams come true?
