Orchard pig
When it comes to food pairings pork and apple has to be one of the greatest known to man. And there’s one breed of pig that encapsulates this pairing more than most. The Gloucestershire old spot.
The breed was first registered in 1913 but it was called the ‘old spot’ because it had been around as long as anyone could remember and was always highly prized for its apple tinged flavour.
