Mark Kermode reviews The Look Of Silence. Joshua Oppenheimer follows his acclaimed documentary The Act Of Killing with this new companion piece. Through the director’s footage of the 1965 Indonesian genocide, a family discovers how their brother died – and who killed him. The youngest son, optometrist Adi, decides to confront the killers and, while testing their eyesight, asks them to take responsibility for their murderous actions.
