Mark Kermode reviews London Road. Based on the stage musical by Alecky Blythe, London Road recounts the events of 2006, when the rural town of Ipswich was left reeling following the discovery of the bodies of five women. The residents of London Road had struggled with curb-crawling and soliciting for years, but when a local man was arrested and charged for the murders, they had to confront the reality of what it meant to be at the center of a major tragedy.
