Ranjit and Sara - It Started in a Coffee Shop
Directed and Animated by Shiya Lin and Jocelyn Wat - Bristol School of Animation, UWE Bristol - May 2016.
An English girl and an Indian Brahmin fall in love over a spaghetti bolognese breakfast.
Shiya and Jocelyn say, 鈥淩anjit and Sara鈥檚 conversation is the sweetest love story ever told. The best part is that it is a real life fairytale, the kind that makes one believe in fate again. Their story is full of imageries, that one can simply imagine the scenes. The style of the animation has been kept simple, so the attention will not be drawn away from the conversation. It鈥檚 been a great opportunity to explore abstract animation. We hope we have successfully told their story with visual images on screen.鈥
